Matt and I were great partners. We had a system down and it worked quite well. We got our daily station duties completed, checked in the rigs with expertise, and pretty much ran the supplies. I honestly don't really know where I've been. It's just been work, work, overtime, work, work and let's throw in a little more overtime over here. I honestly think that they have my number on speed dial when it comes to having a transfer and not having anyone on the board. I should start my own zombie movie.
With the way I keep randomly disappearing and reappearing, maybe something sci-fi might better suit me than a zombie flick. On the other hand, I am sort of like a zombie. I'm undead. I think.
But I was sort of in the mood earlier for a long-winded update but somewhere along the line, I seem to have ran out of steam.

Even after watching all these zombie movies, I'm still no expert.
Oh, my. Where to begin. I'm not even sure. Anyway, the ambulance service I'm on went paid, so now I have an official job. And I get paid to sleep. Meaning, yes. We're doing kelly shifts. Meaning, yes. I work 24 hours straight, then have 48 hours off. It's actually not that bad at all ( Read more... ) -

So. I took a weather spotter class yesterday because the police department wanted some of us ambulance/fire people to take the class. It was informational and I certainly learned something. I'm going to hell, I just know it.
Matt and I end up running a 911 call alone, which is all fine and dandy. It's just a little older lady from the nursing home, who wants to go to Morris, which isn't our main transport hospital. So we contact our base hospital and they grant us permission. Everything goes fine. We drop her all and get ready to leave... and the other ambulance ( Read more... )
