*grin* I'm so glad I could make you giggle. You've sounded like you could use a nice round of giggles lately. I think my Mundane Volume is tweaked a little more towards the Surreal side than most people's. It keeps life interesting...

i'm glad i'm not on dial-up.

i LOVE your comics. you ROCK, dude.

When I was a little girl, I used to LOVE DQ cones dipped in that hard CHERRY coating - do they still have that? I haven't been to DQ in FOREVAH!

I think I'm going to attempt gelato this summer - soft, gooey, italian-style frozen creme - mmmm - I'll have to do that, oh, say, around JUNE 17th wouldn't ya say?

What is C.O.V.? YOU BIG OL' NERD!! Seriously, what is it?

I don't know if they have the cherry anymore. When I went this weekend they offered me chocolate or butterscotch. I've never had one of the butterscotch but the whole concept kinda puts me off. Was the cherry real cherry flavored or was it Red flavored?
Ree loves gelato. I don't know that I've ever had one, actually. How weird. I didn't realize that until just this minute.
Oh and C.O.V. is City of Villains...a hideously addictive Nerdgasm-inducing online Multi-player RPG. It's the cohort/sequel to City of Heroes, to which I am also addicted.
There's no Big Ol' Nerds quite as Big Ol' Nerdy as Comic Book nerds, so this is the UberNerd fusion of computers and comics and um...flirting. *laugh*

Thank you sweetie! You have no idea (well, actually you probably have a very good idea) how much I enjoy it when people like my work. It's very motivating to have everyone pop in and give me positive strokes every time I post one...

You're very welcome! I was thinking about you the other day, they had this strange news segment on about how Hawaii is bracing for a really big shark bite season (heck, they have to keep up with Florida, which is apparently having Gator Death season) and I was thinking about you surfing and how un-amused I'd be if you got yourself chewed on...
by a shark, that is. The other kind of being chewed on, as you know, I heartily applaud. *grin* Anyhow...I suppose this is me saying "Be careful out there." ;) I worry. It's what I do...

I love you, Rob. You make my days better.

And I envy your cartooning style. Seriously envy.

You have no idea how happy it makes me to think that I'm making your days better. Very happy. Don't envy my cartooning style! I love your cartooning style and I've compared myself to you too thinking that my style is very generic compared to yours. It was one thing I kept hearing at the art school...that I'm pretty much too blank, stylistically, and don't put enough of my own touch on things. Your cartoons are recognizably yours and that's one of the many things that makes them great.
So yeah...I see your envy and raise you one. *laugh*

I took the liberty of sharing your update with my dad. He laughed until he cried, especially at the vicodin jokes (he's fighting serious nasty headaches, and the doctor is talking about something called a "cervical epidural" to see if that'll make them stop). He loves your artwork.

I often wish that I could make my style a little *more* generic. I still don't have all that good of a grasp on things like making the characters look as though they're moving instead of static. You, on the other hand, never fail at that, which I envy like crazy.

Last thing: I glowed when I got this comment. Someday you have to come visit us (during the summer, so you can glory in the OMGitssofriggingHOT weather) and you and I will sit and draw at each other. Among other things (significant clearing of throat here).

*grin*
