New rule: never ever ever make up your own directions when they are given to you by mapquest (at least me, they always turn out completely fucked up).

So for all of you people that didn't bother to listen or who were lazy, etc.

what my trip was supposed to look like )

Yeah... after a 3 hours detour! Thanks for calling to check up on me and sorry for my haste in getting you off the phone. I was a bit freaked out/tired and annoyed at that point.

never trust mapquest directions, you will get there eventualy (without any minor self made detours) but it's not always the best route.
*hugs his GPS and laptop combo for navigation*

This was a particular time I should have trusted mapquest and not my brain. As I said to myself while driving "I'm a genius but today I am very very stupid"

I don't know MapQuest stays in business. They've NEVER given me correct directions. I decided one day to get directions from my place to my parents (2.5 miles) just to see what it said. MAJORLY fucked up. You're lucky you got home. lol

According to both Mapquest and Googlemap, I live down the street from where I actually live.

Do not trust either of them.

Chag sameach.

Don't worry kid, my street isn't even on the map, and the road's been here for 2 years.

It was funny -- Shane came in and said "What are you listening to?!?!" He thought you were some sort of person on a CD
