This time I'm not the only one who sucks! I went into class pretty depressed because I couldn't get my genetic algorithm to work on time... only to find out that nobody could, really. The hypothetical Vegas trip occurred, and was much fun. Highlights included hanging out with good friends all week, eating an excellent Burrito at a place called Chipotle's, becoming pleasantly inebriated without feeling at all sick or hungover later, and playing Texas Hold'em Poker for about two hours at the Luxor. The robotics competition was a lot of fun, as always. The robot caught fire and shut down during the first match... and was plagued by many problems throughout the competition... but by the very last match everything was working fine. The robot moved into position,the camera locked onto the target and the cannon fired... points were scored... ( Read more... )

So apparently some people on livejournal thought I was a girl. It says John up top, you guys.

In other news... The Buffy musical is the finest hour of television I've ever seen. It snuck up on me, but Buffy has finally replaced Gilmore Girls as my favorite show. Thank you much Becky for lending me the series.

I finally managed to get locked out of my apartment last night.
