*surfaces, looks around for anyone*

*props self up on tentacles, tries to look casual*

*hears someone say hello, looks toward the pond and sees AL on the shoreline* Oh my! O_O *stops still*

*glances about as she takes a step away from the shoreline, calls out* Who said hello?

*clicks beak in excitement, then notices that this hobbit looks like the less mean than the mean hobbit; is nervous and thinks perhaps most hobbits look like that*

*but is still lonely*

*waves tip of a tentacle in what she hopes is a friendly manner; is not encouraged when the hobbit steps back, but continues anyway*
