Yes. It would enable people who learn visually or who look for pictures when they get lost with following along with the directions (like me) to sew with the same level of competence as other people. Also, it might make more people interested in learning how to sew because the patterns were less difficult to comprehend.
14.) Would you be interested in the ability to access pattern instructions on the Internet, as well as having a printed copy with your pattern? Keep in mind this would have many benefits other than allowing you access to the instructions if you lose your printed copy. Why or why not?
Yes, absolutely. If you had any design programs, you could test what different colors or fabrics would look like for each pattern before you start sewing. Also, there is the added benefit of being able to enlarge any diagrams and make notes all over the place without ruining the instructions.15.) Would you be interested in ( ... )

Do you think that that pattern's instructions should have said something like, "Recommended fabric: Chinese brocade, but be careful because it frays really badly"?
I think it's unrealistic to expect warnings like that because then we'd need a page of instructions just to pick a fabric--each recommended fabric would have to come with a set of pros or cons. I don't expect everyone who sews any pattern to have a full knowledge of how all fabrics behave, but I know that if I'm sewing with a fabric that's new to me, I'll research it before I start working with it.
