Starting the Christmas season by making chocolate toffee, only half of what I was going to do because I lost feeling in my hands chopping the chocolate. I'll do the rest this weekend or like, when I start craving sweets.

Doubt that will be anytime soon, though, seeing as how I've planned to make gingerbread and saffron buns this Saturday. Gotta have ( Read more... )

Since we sneakily friended each others without a word during the friending meme I'll take this opportunity to say hi. Hi! And also Advent! I have to get more candles and bake something Christmassy as well. How did December get so close?

And gingerbread dough totally beats the actual gingerbreads 10-0. Luckily it's practically a law that all those random pieces of dough the mold leaves out are just begging to be eaten. :3

mmm all those random pieces or at least an eighth of the dough? Very, very bad habit, yeah.

Toffee is always delicious. Unless of course it's done badly. But that doesn't count.
