BBC News:
When two unrelated human feet washed up on the beaches of two small islands north of Vancouver in six days last August, a spokesman for the Mounties said the odds of it happening were a million to one. This week the number of feet found rose to six.

Apparently, "Libraries can be cost effective but very inconvenient". Because, you know, you have to go outside, and walk from the parking lot to the building, and interact with other people. And who wants to do all of that?

I'm working at a new client firm, so the guy in the next cube and I are still in the getting-to-know-you stage. He fascinated by the way I live my life, moving from country to country with only a very general idea where I want to be 5 years from now. But right now, he's raving about the vacation I'm taking next week.

FreeRice is a vocabulary site with a public service twist. For each word you get right, they donate ten grains of free rice to help end world hunger. There are 50 levels in all, but it is apparently rare for people to get above level 48.
