The poster just emailed back and she says it's definitely not him. Still don't know where he is, but at least he's not definitely dead.

Sadly, no; he's still gone. I've called all the shelters and walked around the neighborhood several times, but no luck. I'm spending tomorrow going to the shelters in person and putting posters up.

I really miss him.
