Lessons from a toddler
Look out the window. See the leaves blowing in the wind? That's giggle-worthy.
Look down. See the sunlight-cast shadows at your feet? Step on them and grin.
Look at those stairs. What are you waiting for? Stairs are for climbing.
Bring a handful of flower petals to your loved one. Watch some blow away in the wind. Keep a handful to carry with you.

Cutting the one year molars
Carl's 1 year molars have been coming in so he hasn't been getting to sleep until 1 or 2 every morning for the last 3 nights or so. I'm hoping maybe tonight if I give him some ibuprofen around 8 pm, he (WE) will sleep better? (We can feel the upper left and right ones cutting through the gum as of yesterday - I expect the right one may have poked ( Read more... ) -
