I've never loved my birth control like I love my NuvaRing. It's our one year anniversary and she has only been wonderful to me this whole time. :)

Each week it gets better. Life, that is. This wekend was wonderful. Bike fashion show, movie in the street, cat getting with TBS, yummy home cooked dinner with new friend, dancing with the queers. Other than the fact that I'm so broke, life would be perfect right now. But hell, Life is perfect right now!

Playing fetch with Layla and Lexi is so funny to me. Lexi will bring the ball, Layla will go and stand close to the edge of the yard in the direction I am throwing it and wait. I'll get the ball, throw and both dogs will go for it. Though Layla has half of the distance covered already, she still only gets the ball about half the time! And when she ( Read more... )

There is gonna be a hella cool garage sale tomorrow. We have lots of electronics, speakers, a wine holder, a cracked 100 gal fish tank (perfect for non-ground dwelling lizards), a screen tank (perfect for the chameleon), lots of board shorts, and lots of reptile wood. Whoa, I've been working in my house for about 2 hours, unpacking and redecorating and I feel something tingly on my neck. Thinking it's just a spider, I brush it away and a tic falls to my arm. Yes, a tic. Yuck! I almost wish I could Frontline myself, like I do to my dog.

I still feel the tingly scritchy feeling on my neck. YUCK!

Going to Karaoke with TBS has been a blast so far. And tonight VB, NB, Dan and Natalie came as well. Meeting Marilynne and Ty down there made it a huge group of peeps there for a good time. Surrounded by friends, friends and lovers who care for me deeply, I am still lonely. I miss having a partner who shares the emotional connection you only find with those special people. Sigh, I'll find it again, but till then it's lonely, you know?

Spending today with Mayhem, VB and NB today was most wonderful. 9.8 miles of hiking with Uncle Cid in Montano de Oro, followed by well deserved chillaxing in Spooners with the Snowy Egret and the fog up overhead.
