No apology needed. There are going to be needs well into the coming weeks and months. I plan to go as often as I can and take things each visit until I run out of money.

Is there any possibility of you opening this post up? I'd like to send it to a few people who might have a couple extra dollars.

Yep...I'll go back now and change the post from Friends only to Everyone.

Feel free to share any info from anything I post and feel free to pass along my PayPal account kbpuckett@bellsouth.net.

Just vouch for me with whoever that I'll be buying supplies and taking them direct to the areas that need them and not buying myself a shiny new pair of shoes with their money. :o)

I've made the post public now.

Also, I've been updating on my Facebook and you can take anything from there as well.

Lise, Dave and Vix all copied a status to post to reach their FB friends too.

The more people that see/know/hear maybe the more $ to be used for supplies.

Even $5 helps if I combine it with another $5 then another $5 and so on.

It is.

It's like nothing I've ever seen before. I felt like I was in a foreign country.

The phrases "shell shocked" and "walking wounded" kept coming to my mind.

We asked one lady if we could pray with her and what her immediate prayer need was and she took a deep breath and just let it all out...she said she hadn't cried the entire time but just thinking about what her immediate prayer need was overwhelming.

She said the things she wanted most were: Peace. Wisdom to know what to do next. And to stop seeing the images in her head over and over again.

It's really awesome of you to be helping out like that! I'll be sending some funds as soon as the money gets moved into my PayPal account... probably sometime between Wednesday and Friday.

It really isn't all that awesome...I think it's what people should do when they see neighbors in situations like this.

I appreciate any and all donations...thanks a bunch and your money will be put to good use.
