Gah this is a boring rant
One my thesis sections was checked yesterday, aside from picking over the English " which had already been doublechecked by someone else". I was told as my explanations went from two simple to to complex, I think it's because the first ones were in the area of the reviewers expertise, however, it all went into non-Euclidean geometry after that, ( Read more... ) -
post-Brighton and then sunlight weekend
A really good, if slightly manic weekend so far. I've got to go to Brighton and catch up with the last cry although I had to leave early for the last train back to Guildford. The finishing line is in sight at last
Today I had my first of the final review meetings, looking at the first 15% of my thesis, which has passed review with a few annotations me to make. At the moment I have approximately 87% of my thesis finished I am finishing up the last section before the concluding discussion and conclusion. Which means about 27 pages to write if that so I'm ( Read more... ) -
Update
Time for an update about what is going on, still slogging away on my thesis and file experiment. It's now all, 3: 37 in the morning. I am waiting for compiled to finish on my test environment, which I need some human subjects to run through. That sounds a lot more mad scientist than it actually is. A busy couple of weeks
Last few weeks been quite busy, finally starting to get over my writer's block soso starting to make some progress on my thesis. I went up to London during the day last Sunday Rottersand was playing at six o'clock; so I thought I'd have a look round Camden earlier. It has been ages since I have been up there during the day, with the Dev no longer being a Goth pub I haven't really had a reason to go during the day for ages. stressed out
I am reaching be 80% point of my work, which would be fine if I wasn't stressed out and I think I tend to frayed with people. I would like to say, being careful helps, but it doesn't. Well after finishing the experiment I should have a chance to. Not so much chill out, as have some constant work of number crunching ( Read more... ) -
Weekends
The club was annoying in lots of ways, mainly to do with been cold and rather nasty down there. How they think you can get people to buy drinks when they are freezing and cold and the environment rather nasty I have no idea.
