Papaw Passed Away

My sister called just before 5 p.m. today to tell me that she wasn't going to be coming up for the baby's birth. Hospice had given out the sad news that they did not expect Papaw to make it through the weekend. I told her it was the right decision and to be there to give our love to Papaw and the family

So sorry to hear the news. It is always hard to lose a loved one. I think it is even harder when it is suppose to be a time of joy.
I don't know if you knew my uncle Bill. He was married to my aunt that raised me. Anyway we lost him rather suddenly the night after Devon was born. I was still in the hospital when I found out. It was surreal to be honest.
