Hope everyone had a happy, safe New Year. Ours was farily uneventful. Spent it hanging out with some family. My grandma was recently admitted to the hospital with what turned out to be a blood clot in her neck (which turned out to be a result of a drasticly enlarged thyroid on the opposite side of her neck). Al played the Wii when we visited VA a few weeks ago. He fell in LOVE with it. He doesn't read this, so I can spill. If I wasn't set on getting him a professional massage for his birthday (no, there will be NO happy endings for him from the masseuse), I'd think about buying a Wii for him. However, he works really hard (he's a mechanic at Alcoa Aluminum and has to bend and twist and always has a sore back), and I think a massage would be a better gift for his birthday.

Anyway. I also played the Wii, and it was pretty cool. Hopefully Al will buy one soon. heh

That's very thoughtful of you. Even though the male portion of his brain would probably rather have a Wii, his back will thank you for your choice :)
