I HAVE A JOB!!!! I start 10/12. I'll be the 3-11:30pm shift. I'll start out (during my day time training) making $20.09/hr, but when I do the 3-11:30 stint, I'll get bumped up to $21.59/hr! Working weekends, I'll make an extra $1.50 on top of my $21.59! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

With the windchill, it's -45F here in good, ol' Davenport. WTF?!?!?! I do have class today. I was hoping the college's pipes would freeze or the heat would stop, thereby canceling! Not yet, anyway :(

I am giving serious consideration to getting a new laptop. So, which brand do you recommend, which OS (ok, so I really want to stick with XP, but a few of the sites I've looked at don't even give me the option to order a laptop with XP on it.
