Maybe because in staring down death every day,
we are force to know that life,
every minute,
is borrowed time.

And each person we let ourselves care about,
is just one more lost somewhere down the line.

Too often, the thing you want most is the one thing you can't have.

Desire leaves us heartbroken
It wears us out.
Desire can wreck your life.
