The redbud is down... and it's breaking my heart. Such a lovely tree and old also for one of those. Near as I can figure out, it's close to 80 years old. But that 'not a tornado' we had last Wednesday twisted it in the ground and it has been slowing toppling since. The last two weeks we have actually had Saturdays off!!! After 13+ years of six day weeks... I don't know what to do with myself!!!

But the garden needs weeding and getting ready for winter...

People have been kind to me about my poetry… reading it and giving me some good feedback on how to improve, plus many kind words of encouragement to keep on creating. I've often head the saying "you can wear the air' but I know how it feels this week.
