Arianna is having a similar issue, constantly yelling for someone to be there and throwing tantrums left and right. I dunno what's up with it but yeah, its gotten beyond old hat now. :/

My daughter Savannah's the same way. She's only about one and a half and hasn't developed the skill of throwing things too far yet, so I don't have to worry about projectile toys, but I definitely get the 'you have to be here, or else' tantrum.

It sounds horrible but no one ever tells you that you're kid's going to make you want to break things.

haha. I actually used to have an old beater in my garage that if I got too stressed out I just took a bat to it. Really seemed to help.

Nowadays I settle with closing the door, having a cigarette and wearing studio headphones to sleep.

That's what we ultimately had to do. She wouldn't settle down for anything, unless someone was standing in the room. Then standing in the room wasn't enough; she wanted to be picked up and to be taken to watch TV. Or eat more. Or have another bottle of milk.

I feel like crap that there might be a physiological reason for this, and I'm reacting to her like she's just being spoiled.
