State of the Site Report
Side 7 has been very quiet lately, both from its user-base and its management. I've been exceptionally busy, and unfortunately Side 7 has been pushed to the wayside as a result. Family, full-time work, and almost full-time school has dominated my time, and I have not been able to find the time to dedicate to Side 7. My numerous calls for anyone ( Read more... ) -
Excited about my next class...
Oh, I'm excited about my next class at school, "Visual Communication" (was "Visual Indication"). Just out of curiosity, I looked up the course's description. It wasn't very . . . descriptive:

I'm a failure
Closing the doors and turning down the monitor was what we ultimately did with Melissa last night. I ended up just walking out of her room, and disturbing Rebecca to please step in. I am a shit father for having thoughts of smacking the crap out of my daughter rather than picking her up and comforting her. I had to leave her room; I just couldn' ( Read more... ) -
Pissed off
Melissa's had me up for over an hour now, and is having a complete screaming meltdown in her room because I refuse to simply stand there and be a presence, or go get her more milk. It's 4:15 in the morning. She's thrown everything out of her crib including her blanket and pillow. This is growing old rapidly. It's not good when I no longer wish ( Read more... ) -

(A lack of) consideration
You know, if you're going to ping me on IM to complain that a service I provide isn't working for you, and I drop other things I'm working on to prioritize your problem and start asking questions, fucking put your game on pause and focus on the problem at hand. Location Shoot ABORT!!
So, due to circumstances outside of our control, our location shoot today (which was where all of our scenes for today were supposed to take place) fell through. We lost the location, which screws the entire day. We don't have a backup location, and with actors needing to sit through 3-4 hours of SFX makeup and such to shoot numerous scenes, and ( Read more... ) -
Day 3
Day three of filming. I've had an awesome fight scene, been in handcuffs, taught a class, been yelled at by numerous pretty women, and am off to go film a metric assload of interior apartment scenes. Sounds like a Skinemax film! Haha!

Filming
So, this weekend I have a four-day excursion to Staunton, VA for filming. This is the last two filming blocks for an independent film with which I'm involved. By happenstance, I landed the lead male role. That, in and of itself, is pretty cool and exciting.
