Richard died this morning at 3am, his wife and a friend were at his bedside. It was very peaceful, just a cessation of breathing

I never met him but he was funny and witty and hopeful and I am so sad at this.

Inevitable but truly truly sad. He was a fantastic man and he will be missed. I wish love and support to his family right now, and as time goes on. My condolences to you all.

I only knew him through LJ and a short time at that but I wish him and his family peace and am sorry I never got the chance to know him better.
