Update on the car and other things
I pulled the broken console shroud out of my car last night, and found to my satisfaction that the idiot that stole my stereo broke one of the plugs off the back of it, making the iPod function inoperable. I doubt he'll get much money for it at the pawn shop, with that part broken off. Heh ( Read more... ) -
Update on the car
The Crime Scene officer came by and dusted my car for prints, and found a couple. After she was done with the car, I checked through it for anything else missing.
Crackhead took my folder of music CD's, all the loose change and the spare clip out of the center console, and the long knife I had under my seat. He left my tools. -
At what point does it stop being free speech and start being treason?
I was driving home yesterday and noticed a car in front of me, with papers taped to the back window with what looked like Arabic writing. I was on the phone with Heather at the time and jokingly said it looked like somebody's being all "Jihad". Yeah, I know, bad racist me, right? Just got back from Corsicana this morning. We had a small Amtgard gathering there, in honor of Sir Zig, who died last week. I got there late and missed the singing and the toast, but there was still some good times sitting around the fire and talking with everyone. Funker Vogt
Funker Vogt posted a flyer on MySpak for a US tour a couple of weeks ago, with locations TBD. I posted a comment on it saying something about coming to Dallas, thinking there was no way they'd actually come here.
Today the revised flyer was up, announcing new tour dates. And at the bottom of the list:

Well, it looks like Big Brother wins this round. I was finally able to view the video that Ingsoc posted of me for the red light ticket I got in the mail, and I didn't stop at the red before turning.
