How do you get someone to change their mind about something they already are set on. Well I tell you what it is hard but you don't attack them. If you attack what they believe in and tell them that they are wrong then they will rebel and not listen to a darn word you have to say. I feel that if you believe in something that someone is trying to sell then go ahead and buy it or go for what they are talking about it. Sometimes certaing things don't fail. The book we read Bias, was an opionionated book about the media that was kind of like a venting novel. Their was no validity behind what this writer had to say, he was just venting his own opionion. He quoted a few sources but he wasn't specialized in the areas he was discussing. The author states in the overall of his book that he is a liberal ( Read more... )

As a person who sits the audiences I feel if you want to clear up whether or not you believe someone or something that is stated by what someone says we should look it up. Visual propaganda is what grabs our attention. If we are watching television we see commercials for cars that we can't afford but we get extremly interested in, if it was't for those commercials we would't be grabbed. Products that I would consider myself loyal to would have be say sauve for shampoo, maybe new balance for running shoes, maybe meijer over walmart but I think that my mind is changing on that because walmart has a lot better deals. During my research for class, on Nazi Germany I found lots of information on many things dealing with WWII that I didn't know about before I did this presentation.
