well, they have a look (black pants, white shirts, black ties - so unique!) and they know enough behind-the-scenes people to get booked on bills they didn't deserve for the last 2 years.

I have pants and I am pleased with them.

I also have a band and I am pleased with it. but I am one in about 15.

Great, now when they loose another half a million dollars (see Von Bondies) no major label will ever TOUCH a Detroit band again. I hope they make them change their band name.

Yeah, for sure. They totally failed to market the Von Bondies properly. They almost had there chance to make it by co-headling Lollapalooza, but sadly, that went bye bye.
