cloudberry liqueur
The cloud berry liqueur we're making is now in the decanter we bought in Tallinn this summer. It has a lovely rich golden colour, but is still a bit "muddy" - (is there a better term for this?) - even though we filtered it. Might have to give it a round of decanting and extra filtering to get it clear, will see in a couple of weeks when it's time ( Read more... ) -

Just a quick note as I’m copying some of our pictures from a memory card to a usb-drive for backup. We’ve been taking a lot of pictures this vacation as well, and the 8mpx camera fills up memory cards fast…

Vacation mode
I'm going into sweet vacation mode now - these last days at work have been slow and my mind has been drifting off to planning for our four week trip to Estonia. I'm really looking forward to it, even though its a bit scary going on such a long trip with the kid ( Read more... ) -
Arnstein's musings: Radio Paradise - great music - all the time
Radio today mostly suck - with one exception. Norwegian radio is either filled with boring, soul-draining pop music or to heavy on the talk. I'm a music fan - and I like to listen to music when working or at home - and I've finally found my station. It's an internet radio station, based in California - called Radio Paradise.

Arnstein's musings: Demonstration against censorship
I'm impressed!
This is the front pages of two leading Polish news papers, «Gazeta Wyborcza» and «Rzeczpospolita». In support of an action from Amnesty International to highlight censorship in neighbouring country Belarus (White Russia), they've "censored" their front pages. Disturbing their own front page in this way is certainly a dramatic way ( Read more... ) -

Wooha - big things going on - after much hair-pulling and a mild level of anxiety over not having somewhere to live after 1.st of august, we've finally found and bought a place we like.
