I just managed to delete every video file on my computer including califur videos and video from california extreme arcade expo. There were irreplaceable videos there too. they are gone now :(

There are tools out there that can successfully restore the files. My parents had the same thing happen when they ran recovery on their HP computer. It wiped and reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP, yet it was able to recover all of the pictures and other files that had not been backed up.

It might not be too late. Don't turn off the comp and don't write anything else to the drive. Search for a file recovery sotware, download to another drive, and run it. I use R-Undelete an another together, forget what the other was though.

There's a good chance even the basic trial softwares out there wil be able to recover stuff. Might have to reg something to do a lot of files though, but you can usually tell if it is actualy going to get anythnig back before regging.
