Ive been really kinda blah lately hoping to find some excused to suit up and have some fun. not necessarily gig style. I guess i just am wondering if anyone just parties and suits up for the sake of having fun any more

You have a yard? That, an iPod with some speakers, and, if you're feeling fancy, a grill are a pretty sound foundation for building your own event. :)

We need to just randomly declare some absurd date to be Wear A Fursuit To Werk Day. Other than Halloween, I mean. ;)

Time to play "Any Excuse for Fursuiting"! I recommend justifications for putting on fur such as:
* There's a public event that would welcome costumes
* There's a party at a friend's house
* It's Halloween
* It's some day near Halloween
* I invited some friends over
* Gosh the house just feels cold right now
* It's Monday

I've been going to a lot of gigs lately, both Critters and non-critters. Last week there was a spur of the moment fursuit bowling. Just try putting something together... there's always Chinese Halloween as well in San Francisco. I think I've been fursuiting at least every other weekend for the last few weeks.
