I'm only whingey because I'm in nicotine cold turkey again. Promise. But, here we go with the questions:
1) Out of all the books you've read besides the Amber series, which one had the most impact on your life/outlook/aspirations, and what was it about that particular book that made such a difference?
2) What's the single most vivid memory you have before the age of 9?
3) If you could know just one secret out of all the things in the universe, what secret would you plump for?
4) Who was the last person to tell you a joke, did it make you laugh, and what was the joke?
5) What's the one thing you would miss about Oxford if you had to move up to, say, Inverness? 4)
Questions incoming!arraletheJanuary 30 2004, 06:37:29 UTC
1) What film would you watch if you wanted a real weepy, and which part of said film is the one that makes you sniffle?
2) Pick a shop you visit fairly regularly, and say that you have their loyalty card. What would the market researchers be extrapolating about you from your last 3 shops there?
3) What one realisation/discovery had been integral to your life?
4) It's Groundhog Day on Monday. What day of your life would you most like to be trapped in, and what was so good about it that you'd like to do it over and over? (PG 12 answers only, please!)
5) Which people on your LJ friends list would you pick as your crew for a deep space mission on the spaceship "Nostromo" (from "Alien")? Why would you want them with you?

Ooh, an assortment from the trivial to the deep!
1) Weepy film; Ghost . Not just cos I was 15 when I saw it and liked the look ofPatrick Swayzee with baby oil :o). Joint 1st place goes to Donnie Darko (esp. the last 5 minutes)
2)M&S (as opposed to S&M). They'd think I was a kinda batman-like figure, torn between the purple and black section of Per Una, and the sensible underwear and beige jumper-wearing respectable middle-aged side of the store. Real life reason being that I have a *totally* different set of clothes for work than for home.
3). Has to be losing my religion at the end of Hilary Term in my second year. And the following fallout that included splitting up with Al Parsons, failing exams and rethinking my whole personal philosophy. I'm much happier now :o)
4). Soppy answer I'm afraid. Has to be the day last year where dr_bob and I went to Chessington WOA in the morning and afternoon, to London to eat sushi in the evening, and then he proposed outside the station on the way home. Fun, food and romance all in one day, ending

(Hell, we can't afford to increase the whinginess at the moment, considering the size "some threads" are growing to!)
