This weekend has seen a strange mix of both forward momentum and nostalgia, alhough admittedly mainly computer and film related.

Given the doctor has signed me off for the week and yet encouraged me to try and do half days at work, I gave it a go today. Hmmm, it hit me over the weekend that about 7 years ago my grandmother passed on. It was shocking for many reasons, not least the fact it was my first grandparent to go, and secondly because, in the age before mobile phones, my parents couldn't get hold of me to tell me as I had gone away for the weekend.
