Now I'm in Santa Elena, Cost Rica.

Today it was the first day, where UI was not sweating all the time here in Costa Rica.

We went into a park with a lot of suspension bridges and afterwards I saw the feeding of some basilsks with rat babies. Ihhhh. (of course I made pictures. ;-))

Now I'm in Singapore, 8pm local time, that's 1am New Zealand time (so my body time right now) and 1pm German time, my future body time. Additional, it's 7am EST (Eastern Standard Time, so like in Detroit or New York)of the same day. Somehow confusing. My flight to Frankfurt goes in 3.5hours. But it's next to the sea. Today I left Christchurch after spending two hours in the antarktic center. You can borrow shoes and jackets and then you can go in (not out) to the winter. Normally they have -8degC, but every 30 minutes there comes a storm and the temperature goes down to -20degC. Cool. I'm probably not very good in escaping the winter ( Read more... )

At least a name I can pronounce correctly. If the weather is fine, I will fly tomorrow with the helicopter to the glaciers tomorrow. Then I have to start my way back to the north. I hiked this morning and it was a beautiful scenery here. Tomorrow I will go more north in the south. ;-)
