That's really horrifying. And even more horrifying that it's not getting very much attention. I guess culture of life only applies when there's no chance of survival, huh?

I think it goes beyond simply "weird" into frightening. This is a life or death situation, the outcome of which might have changed if someone in that ambulance had had an ounce of fucking common sense. "Gee, he didn't answer the door. Whadda we do now, boss?" You fucking BUST THE DOOR DOWN. Anywhere else, there would have been no question about what would have been done.
