I've edited the last portion of my story, but it isn't finished yet; I'm feeling a little stuck these last few days. It probably doesn't help that I am incredibly mopey today.

I wish that there was enough time to re-read all the books that I have loved as well as keeping up with all the new books. I used to have plenty of that sort of time...
Hey, in 10 or 15 years I will retire - then I can read everything that I want to! That's a bonus of old age.
Anyway, I'm quite fascinated by that Steinbeck book - I wonder if it would spoil East of Eden for me. That was one of the favourites of my teenage years. I liked the movie, too. I probably haven't read the book since I was about 18. Does it still stand up? Sometimes, old favourites can disappoint.

Actually, I've never read it. I plan to get it out when I next go to the library, and then read both of them. :)
