I didn't work every day in my journal last week. But I'm still moving forward, trying to work in this every day.

I like the 2nd one bast and I like the background on the last one. The mismatched eyes on the 3rd one bug me a bit but I like the rest of her.

Thanks :) The second one was pretty much an accident when the rose and the black thing fell together :)

You are one of the few artists that I feel I can speak my mind and not have to worry you are going to ban me or take out a billboard that I am a *itch!

I try not to take my art so seriously that I need to wear a beret or something. Especially journal art, it's more about the process. But I'm glad you feel that way :)

I think they are all cool! It is a journal, what matters most is that you express yourself and not that you be critical of it (by it I mean the art or your feelings). Of course it IS good art, but that is beside the point. It is the process that matters the most. =)

Actually Amber I like all 3 entries. Only you know you feel like the last was forced. We get to see it without all the baggage. Just once I'd love to see my work that way. Not gonna happen of course! :) My favourite however is the middle one. There's an underground symmetry coupled with the chaos of the black overlay that creates a wonderful tension. Thanks for sharing! :)

They're all great. I like the use of space in the top two. I think the last one has a really interesting style with lots of potential; the quick gestural lines of the body are well done.
