I finally did it.  I finally got the scanner, got it installed, scanned some drawings/paintings and wrote a post.  I officially have my food blog up:

A review of 2009. I'm so glad it's over. It wasn't the worst year ever but it had some really rough spots.

We went and saw Watchmen yesterday. It fell flat for me and Dave hated it with the intensity of a thousand fiery suns. Okay.... maybe not that much but he didn't like it (I, on the other hand, can say that I hated the movie 300 with that much intensity.... fucking war macho propaganda ( Read more... )

I've been reading Omnivore's Dilemma. It's a rather eye-opening book but not all in negative ways. That is probably why it is so popular actually. I'm in the middle of the book still but have been reading about "grass farmers" and a movement of getting food from local farms.
