I am a fan of both Spn and CM, and you did a freaking awesome job of crossing them over. I liked the case....Dean, Sam and Reid's observations about it were really effective in their simplicity. And each one's thoughts really fit the character, with Reid focusing on the irrationality of all of it, Dean on the injustice and evil of it, and Sam on the human suffering

Thank you so much - what wonderful compliments! I would have loved to spend more time with all the characters, but figured out early on that I'd have to rein in that impulse. I don't have any plans for a sequel at the moment, but I'm not ruling one out, either. If I stumble across the right case, who knows? ;)
I loved the whole thing, but the part that I loved the most was the discussion of the scars- and the scars that should be there, but aren't. It's such a detail that Reid would notice (and one that really should be played up more in SPN).
Hilariously, I think it's becoming a bit of tradition to have Dean interrogated by the CM crew in SPN/CM crossovers. You wrote it, Kikimax wrote it, I included it in my CM/SPN fic (not yet public, written for the CM BAU_BigBang)... :)
Having Dean interrogated was just too much fun to pass up. I've read kikkimax's stories and loved them - but I was so worried I'd inadvertently rip off some bits from them! I hope I managed to keep things different enough.
I'll certainly be on the lookout for your fic, too - I'm always up for a good SPN/CM crossover!
You totally had original material!! Honestly, except for the Dean interrogation thing (which I agree, WAY too much fun to pass up) you had a completely original plot and POV.
My fic will be on the sn_crossovers comm eventually (still not entirely sure when the bau_bigbang goes live...soonish I hope). It's called "The Time Has Come to be Gone." I'd love to hear your feedback if you end up finding it when it gets posted :)
I'm, like, fixated on gravedigging realism now. Sad, isn't it? At any rate, I'm glad you were able to suspend disbelief for a little while. :) Thanks so much for reading & commenting!
I haven't watched Criminal Minds and don't know any of the characters, but you made them interesting enough to completely draw me in. A very interesting story, and Sam and Dean were spot on with characterization. You nailed the chasm between them painfully well.
And of course a demon would drive a Ford... :) Thanks for this!
Thanks!! I'm glad you were able to get into the story despite being unfamiliar with the other characters - that was something I definitely worried about while writing this fic.
