Rick's surprise party
Allison threw a surprise graduation party for rick last night. He finally graduated from the University of Alabama after 12 years... just call him Dr. Party.

I've gotten in touch with a girl in Guatemala, who's ministry is helping with adoptions. She knows a lot about it and if nothing else she has helped me to feel more at ease with this whole process. It's like I have someone on my side now. Not that I had anyone against me... except time. The US government is putting into effect the Hague something ( Read more... ) -

Wow, I've been home for a little over a week and this is the first time I've even glanced at lj.
Home is great. With the exception of the past few days, so far its been all about nephews!! They are glued to my hips and its wonderful!! It feels so good to be loved!!!!

Everyone came over Friday night. It was their last day of school and they're out for summer. We just hung out, played cards, and ate. I met Chino's cousin Leslie too. She's pretty cool, grew up in LA, so it was nice to be able to speak English for awhile.

Side effects of the antibiotic I am on:
diarrhea (3%)
nausea (3%)
abnormal taste(3%)
dyspepsia (2%)
abdominal pain/discomfort (2%)
headache (2%)
so far, I have a headache and the worst taste in my mouth, and a little nausia.
