Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

I can't take credit for it, I saw it on a t-shirt on the subway, but it caught my attention.

So, I know I don't post much, but yesterday I saw something a tad disturbing. Out side of the Strawberry at Grand Central there was dead homeless person. Just a bit un-nerving, really.

    While I understand the age-old tradition of women covering their hair to denote social status, marital status, modesty etc. And I fully support any women who *chooses* to do this for her own, well thought out reasons, I still wonder: If you're Muslim, or a nun, you cover your hair with a scarf, you do not try to blend in and it's obvious what ( Read more... )

Friday morning the corner of 5th and 43rd smelled like syrup. Not maple syrup, but Denny's type syrup, and I have no idea why. Wierd

So for the three people who read this, I just wanted to let you know that my great aunts suffering ended this morning. We were all with her last night, and she passed away in her sleep early this morning.

So, yesterday I learned that my cousin has been kicked out of private school for smoking pot. Although I'm not very close to him, he's 8 years younger than me and has always been reserved, even more so since puberty, he's still family. This would be the youngest grandson of my great aunt.
