I just got home from an especially long day of smiling and being nice to people, and wanted nothing better than to order pizza from Panago and watch "Murder, She Wrote"  until three o'clock in the morning with my Vancouver people and dog at my feet.

Needless to say, this did not happen.

I hate being homesick.

When I was driving to work, I could see my breath. A town over, there was six inches of snow. I have been wearing two jackets outside and am probably going to break down and buy a parka.

Vancouver is my home.
