i should be laughing. honestly, i should-- and i did, during several parts of the ficlet-- but at the moment i can't get edo's pouting, lost puppy "i don't want to hurt you!" expression out of my head .____.

although, just to be fair, i must say i LMAO when all his insane alchemy prodigy achievements didn't make him as nervous as having sex. and the fact that he read up on intercourse (WELL HOW ELSE WOULD HE LEARN? LURVE MACHINES ARE ALWAYS THE PRODUCT OF BOOKS, YOU KNOW. jesus-- i'm sure mustang caught him at it at least once and hilariousness ensued). also, i always love how your ed blurts out exactly the one thing he SHOULDN'T say ;) and of course, there was winry's "get out of me! get off!," which had me in stitches xD

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. (Oh god oh god ED'S FACE and MUSTANG'S SMIRK and the teasing that and lskdjfjfhasf. That breaks my brain, just a little bit. Especially if Mustang offered a little advice? LOL.)

Poor kids, sex is such a vulnerable thing, which I imagine both of them have issues with. No wonder they almost screwed it up - though I'm glad YOU liked it, lol. Ed and Winry, probably not so much.

Well, I've heard from a few women that some times it doesn't really hurt the first time... It really just depends on the woman and how her body is made.

But, it's true that for most women, it does hurt the first time. And I have to agree with everyone here: I'm tired of "first time" fics where the woman is in NO PAIN whatsoever!

So, thank you for that, and for having our couple be their classic selves (i.e. Ed blurting out the wrong thing, and Winry getting a little bit snappy for good reason). It was wonderful to see a sexual fic with them where they were so in-character. Most of the ones I've read end up having Ed a little too sappy for my taste.

Again, great job! I give it the Xenite thumb's up! ^____^

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it - I really do dislike first time fics where everything goes perfectly. It's so unnatural that it takes me out of the fic, and I have to actively ignore that little bit in order to enjoy it. Either way - I'm happy you approve of this. I was nervous, putting it up!

*Nods* I don't mind them occassionally where the woman was extremely active in sports, because I have heard that some times, the hymen can break over time due to that, but when it comes to every single woman...come on. I usually do like the first time fics where the woman does feel a little discomfort, because usually that means for great interaction with the male companion (i.e. like Ed actually being concerned but being his usual self XD). That and it goes to show just how much women do sacrifice when it is the first time...

Wow...that was long... I hope I wasn't preachy! Sorry if I was! ^_^;;

But, aww, there's no reason to be nervous! You're a great writer!

Which reminds me that I need to get Jacob (aka wild_card_remy) off his butt to start working on our FMA fics again, lol!

Although to me, what would be an interesting story idea would be what happened afterward, like how they would act around each other, or who would start it the next time.
