This is so sweet. And when those two catch up again, I can completely see this as being a realistic reunion. Tears of joy indeed... if only because Ed's still alive, having escaped yet another brush with death. *sigh*

And hello! Found your fics via ed_winry, and had to come stalk your journal for more to feed the monkey. (I just got into FMA about a month ago, and have since devoured all the available manga, the anime series and movie, and am now working on the fanfic and doujinshi. Obsessive, yes?) I've really enjoyed the fics of yours that I've read thus far. :) You paint a very good picture of Ed and Winry. Especially Winry... you've got her nailed! Mind if I hang around for more?

I'm so glad you like it! I'm positive Winry's gonna hold out on her promise until Al gets his body back, but I wanted to see what would happen if I wrote it anyway.

And I don't mind you hanging around at all! I'm actually really happy to see new Ed/Winry fans popping up!

Sweet! Friending you, so that I can stalk your journal with more ease! :D

One of these days, I'm going to get around to writing up some Ed/Winry of my own. I've only written a few FMA pieces, and those (as someone told me) seem to read like Ed's internal diaries- very gen, and not much new material. (Though one might have some Ed/Win, if you squint at it...) I think I'm still getting a feel for the characters, but it seems like such a fun sandbox to play in!

Can't wait to read more of your stuff! :)

Oh, poor Winry, poor Ed. *sniffle*

As usual, I really enjoy how you manage these wonderfully poignant moments in such a short fic.

Part of the self-inflicted challenge was to keep all of these under 1,000 words - you can see I had more trouble with that in the beginning than in the more recent ones.

I'm glad you like it! I don't think Ed will break his promise, but I still wanted to see how it felt if he did. Poor Winry.

So sad! And yet I am delighted to see you've posted once again. Still...I guess it's not quite sad - she IS crying tears of joy. Beautiful once again!

P.S. Mind if I friend you? Had the idea from some comment above...

Hee! I'm happy to see I've inspired conflicting feelings? If it makes you feel better, I don't think this will happen at all - I think Ed will keep his promise. (AT LEAST I HOPE. Arakawa is REALLY mean to us sometimes...)

And yes! I would love if you freinded me! Consider youreslf friended back.

Poor Ed - women can be so mysterious and cry 'cause they're happy, too. Awwwwwww.

Well, Edward, you have to understand that women are different than men. Let me get my charts and diagrams and teach you. - Roy

See, that's why I kept it short - if I had made it any longer I would have upset myself.
