I want a house like the ones my friends had growing up. A plain, fading box of brick or wood from the outside, a shingled roof, shutters on the windows but shutters that never close, shutters that are purely ornamental. And inside, the box will disappear and open up from itself like an off-center flower, rooms spawning at random from the maze of ( Read more... )

then you can come live with me. megan and i really want to do what you're doing, or at least something like it. maybe january 07. i know you must have a crazy schedule, what with the time difference and all, but i'd like to talk with you sometime and see how you are and hear about your adventures and whatnot. aim = i heart burrito

and yes, i did finish the quixotic pirate screenplay. now i'm turning it into a novel for kiddies.

did you finish that -- i dont' know if it was a novel or something different -- with the girl, jane?

naaa. i gave up on killing ninjas. she was fun, but the 365 project is kicking my ass and taking names.

I will indeed tell you of my zany adventures. You guys going to do TEFL or head straight to china/korea? those are the places you can go without TEFLs. China's pretty rad, though I'd suggest doing it big-city-wise.

dude i do not even know what TEFL is. see we haven't done any research on this or any of that 'practical' stuff yet. are you having a great time?

i confess i don't read the 365 stuff as religiously as i would like to these days but i think i can generally tell which writings are yours and they're always my favorite. the postcard one especially i think. how's 365 going?

"And I want the house filled with people, people I love, people who shine for me"

people are the only thing in life that matters.

what you wrote makes me think of a song i've been listening to alot lately...

"So I wanna live in a wooden house,

I wanna live life, always be true,

I wanna live life, and be good to you,

I wanna fly, and never come down,

And live my life, and have friends around"

-We Never Change - Coldplay
