I have never been so pleased with a book-to-TV-to-movie remake in my entire life than I have been with "The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy"! It was as close to perfection as you could come to, aside from the makers omitting a certain dialogue sequence that I truly admired. I thought The Hitchhikers Guide wasn't very good at all. They left out a lot of key factors in the book and didn't say anything about the resturant. I was unimpressed. I belive the Harry Potter movies follow closer to the books than the Hitchhikers Guide. That is my oppinon, do with it what you will.
