It's very easy to temporarily forget about someone when they're no longer with us, or maybe it's better to say that our minds are easily occupied and distracted. That whole out of sight out of mind thing can be unintentional. But photographs can stir up the deepest of emotions... and it's good to be reminded of those we've crossed paths with.

it's kind of depressing how many "friends" come and go, especially once you stop running into each other at work, school, etc.
for example: i once had a speech class. in said class there was this pretty cool dude that i'd talk to, twice a week, about tv shows and whatnot. never met him until then. haven't seen or talked to him since the class ended.

reading the works of authors who have passed away is like having conversations with amazing minds of the past. suchs a wonderful and peaceful thought.

it's difficult, but being selfless and coming to terms is an amazing thing.
