It's 100 degrees outside... an inside... I think I'm going to drop dead...

For years now I've been talking about changing my last name. Lately I've been thinking about it a lot, and I'm about 95% set on doing it. I decided to simply drop my last name and use my middle name, and so within the next year my name will legally be Garrett Alexander. I'm pretty happy with it... My family's trip here was pretty fun, despite quite a bit of fighting. We went to the Bodies exhibition as well as the dead sea scrolls, which were both quite incredible. After 23 days of shooting, Audie And The Wolf wrapped Tuesday morning. While it's nice to have some actual downtime, I'm really going to miss being on set. I mean, you really have to love what you're doing to work 12-17 hours a day, 6 days a week. It flew by so quickly, you can't even imagine. One of the producers of the film I am working on (for my internship) pulled me aside the other day to let me know that they were "bumping me up" from unpaid PA to paid boom op.
