I agree with Ryan... There will always be someone latched onto you or you latched to someone.

Look at me... Im dependent on my mother. As much as I try not to be, I am.

But you put yourself in that situation. You CAN be fully independant. If you truely want it that way. Sure, you can be dependant on people for fulfillment and feelings and all that, but as far as everything else goes, you rely on yourself. That's what I want.

Well, depends what you're talking about. Because you buy things that other people create and whatnot. So you can't be independent that way, or you can, but it's not really smart. And then you certainly rely on other people for interaction and stuff. I just don't think you can ever be independent from other people.

She could always become a hermit. Go out into the wilderness and build a little cabin. She could cut wood for heat and cooking and hunt for food.

I dont know why anyone would want to do that, but yeah... Its a possability.

I mean beyond that. Yea, I'll have to rely on people for some stuff. Like retailers for my things, my job for money, and people for healthy emotional involvement, but I mean the money would be MY money. The things I have will be MINE. I won't have to rely on anyone to get them for me. If I go somewhere, I want to get myself there somehow. I just don't want to have to rely on anyone else for those things. That's my deal, ya know? And right now I have to rely on my father for everything. Not necessarily money. But my bank account is in his name, and I can't really get my own cell without him, and if I want to go somewhere, I have to ask him and then probably get a ride from him. I just want to be free of all that.

Sweetheat... There isnt too much you can do in that sense when your only 16... Most of those freedoms come when your 18.

I understand that. It's just something I want to come faster. Especially since the things I want that have to go through my dad's name I can't get BECAUSE they go through my dad's name.
