After my monsterous, complaint filled post the other day, I stepped back a bit and calmed down.  :)  The fact that I got today off because of weather helped...not that I've done any writing today.  I've been cleaning instead.  Anyway, on Sunday night, I noticed that NBC was airing a made for tv movie version of Raymond Khoury's The Last Templar. Trust me. You didn't miss anything. The first segment was excellent compared to the conclusion, and you've already stated your opinion of the first part. *sigh* Very disappointing.

Glad to know I didn't miss anything. I just hate that the movie was such a poor representation of the book because I'm afraid it will drive readers away rather than make them want to pick up Khoury's books. I hope he got a huge chunk of change for those movie rights, LOL. I was thinking about it today because I'm listening to his newest book, Sanctuary, on audio during my commute. He uses tons of POVs and gets really deep into each character's POV which makes for great storytelling but doesn't translate well into film where everything has to be omniscient. Some of his best writing is within his character's heads...if that makes sense. :)
