OK, now that we laughed ourselves silly about the 140-word auto lj-cut prank, I wanted to ask you guys...

Which do you find more annoying on your own friends' page: an occasional 2,000+ word entry (with no lj-cut)  OR frequent (multiple times daily) short (with/without the use of the lj-cut) emo rants about trivial aspects of someone's life that you ( Read more... )

Just saw an official post from the few folks still left at LJ (XD) about them implementing a new feature -- automatic LJ-cut!  They did a research and found out that, on the average, nobody wants to read more than 140 words of anybody's entry.  And there are people who just never seem to want to give anyone the courtesy of using the cut or they're ( Read more... )

I just saw this post over at the fandom created stuff community on LJ about a sale of keychains with chibi version of the character (not her original character, mind you) by a fanartist.

My simple question is "Isn't that illegal?"

How many of you on my flist can read 日本語? And I don't mean like "read/look at pictures to guess" the raw scans of manga to get the gist of it.

I used to occasionally post a bilingual entry in my LJ, but haven't done so in a long while, but now that I have a few new friends, I thought I'd ask.

I took a lousy shot of mug on my desk, but photo quality aside, the mug itself turned out beautifully, and I am most pleased with the colors in person. XD  I haven't even put any liquid in it since I got it.  This photo is a bit washed out.
