Two things:
1. I hate this. Those words sounded so harsh. She didn't mean it. I hope I'm just blowing this out of proportion. But I'm still so mad at you for thinking that.
2. I'm still not sure. Would it be a bad idea to write about being gay for my college essay if the prompt is about what kind of diversity I'd bring to the school?

well since then ive asked ms. reissman and she said i shouldnt.

"Unless a school makes a clear statement about desiring more gay freshmen, I'd start with something else. In general, I think one's personal life, sexuality, emotional problems etc. are no one else's business."

im so lost as to what to write now!

She may be right. I mean, there are certainly other facets to you.

frecks-you are amazing. being gay sint the only thing you bring anywhere. talk about soemthing that isnt obvious. make it something like your fashion sense or something-it doesnt need to be super serious, just make it thoughtful and show the school that you want to learn and grow...yeah. i basically just paraphrased the college speech we got last year in english.

thanks. im just really stressed out because it has to all be done in less than 2 weeks. once october 7th rolls around, my life will be amazing. also i can go party at outfest after applying to arcadia!
