I do NOT understand that feature at all. What if I'm stopped because I'm waiting to turn onto a heavily populated road? That is exactly what came to my mind! Are you sure this is actually a feature? Who thought that one up, man.
Toyotas like to think for you too. Like they don't shut up if your passenger decides not to wear their seatbelt, or if your passenger happens to be a heavy inanimate object. I've also become stupid whenever I drive anyone else's car at night because I forget people actually have to do stuff manually, like turn on the lights.
Haha. That's nothing dude, my friend's Scion hybrid stops the wipers AND THE AIR CONDITIONING when you're stopped. It's supposed to be a power-conserving feature, but hello, we live in MIAMI. In a car full of 4 people, windows that aren't tinted, and lots of heavy traffic... it's like it becomes a sauna every 10 minutes or so.
I wonder though, if you didn't buy the eco-friendly options, maybe there's a way to turn them off?
Are you sure that's an actual feature and that the devil isn't fucking with you? He's like that you know.
The only "smart" thing my car does is turn on the headlights by itself. When I first got the car I kept covering the sensor thing with my hand to see if they'd turn on but they didn't. To this day, I don't know how it can tell the difference

A Yaris sounds like a slang word for a male body part. You would like that, wouldn't you?
