We went near deadwood south dakota (not in deadwood), where there was a re-enactment of "wild" bill hickock's death, out doors, in the middle of june, and it was COLD outside. it was great though.

We used to go to the Ozarks and Silver Dollar City. My dad used to get a kick out of all the hillbilly imagery. I do remember that there was a pretty great "submarine" ride at Silver Dollar City that made you feel like you were in some weird cobbled together Victorian submarine made of wood.

OMFG...here is a link about the submarine ride "Rube Dugan's Diving Bell" at Silver Dollar City!!! They tore it down in 1984, bastages!
